Interactive Customer Engagement System - iCES

GroundedPower’s content-rich, patent-pending interactive customer engagement system- iCES makes energy consumption visible and actionable, but that's only part of the story. More importantly, from an intuitive dashboard, the energy consumer can select and commit to energy savings tasks, order products, apply for rebates and share experiences within a community of interests. iCES provides a consumer their own window into the world of energy savings approaches and management.as well as simple and effective ways to communicate with peers and their utility. The utility is able to establish a branded platform for communicating with their customers, while providing the tools to drive energy savings and support other activities and programs. iCES works with any technology that can transmit consumption information to the Internet.

Home & Building Area Networks

GroundedPower provides both Home and Building Area Networks using energy monitors (CT 500 and CT 600) to transmit real-time consumption data wirelessly to a gateway (WG 500 and WG 600) that uploads the data to a secure web server. The communications link between the gateway and the server is Internet based, but also can support cellular, advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), or a Smart Meter, as part of the AMI.

GroundedPower provides the sleek and simple Glance in-home and building displays as an optional component of the iCES platform.

Service & Support

GroundedPower delivers ongoing support and update programs for its iCES software platform. GroundedPower can also provide planning and implementation services required to deploy its home and building area networks. Although the iCES system is very easy to use and requires limited ongoing management, GroundedPower can customize a complete management program to provide planning and ongoing support in a managed service approach.

Measurement & Verification

The measurement and verification process is a major focus within GroundedPower. The GroundedPower iCES system allows for individual participant information to be summarized according to groups and in total to provide statistics for regulatory reporting. We work closely with our clients and deliver M&V through the use of independent experts.
